Concerning the article about the female muslim taxi driver.
I think it's about time that women started taking an active part instead of just staying at home and cooking and cleaning, which is what a lot of families want their girls to do.
There is no reason why a woman shouldn't be able to work. In a recent issue of Asian Image someone mentioned that women got frowned upon in their family for going out to work.
No, it shouldn't be like that. I believe that a person is old enough and wise enough to make their own choices so we shouldn't frown on women going out to work.
It's about time the community backed off especially in Preston. I don't see why a person should make themselves unhappy just to please the community or anybody else for that matter.
