It's the ones who marry young and get the 'university of life' experience that are intelligent. Bless, what an insightful comment.

Of course, the men fare well in this - don't Asian men always think they do? As for all us women who go to university (whether we're doing BSc's/MAs/PhDs - all useless according to this article), we do nothing but watch daytime TV, whilst looking down our noses at others, going from one useless relationship to another, and never getting out of the habit of saying 'innit'........ basically wasting our time, money and not preparing ourselves for what should be a life of complete obedience to men who share these chauvinistic, pre-medieval views!

The author seems to be under the impression that a woman should be able to manage everything from looking after her family AND her community, to managing to get a Professorship at an elite institution!!!! It is exactly these sort of unsupportive comments from our own society that stops us from progressing.

I have no idea what this man expects of women (the article would suggest he has maternal issues) or of the type of women he meets. He writes women "are not eloquent, articulate or even relevant", which would be the one thing we share in common with him then.
