BURY Council is to stage its first ever Citizenship Ceremony on Tuesday.
Under new laws, all adult applicants for British Citizenship are now required to take part in a ceremony as the final part of the procedure to become a British citizen.
The Mayor of Bury, Councillor Wilf Davison, will conduct the small ceremony for two new citizens at Bury Town Hall.
