WHEN plans for a new superstore for Whitefield were deferred at the planning committee, people were left yet again no nearer to getting the store the town so desperately needs.
What we don't want are the proposed apartments, the small shops, small supermarket only accessible via a lift, and a roof-top pizza shop for apartment residents.
We feel we are being treated very unfairly and it is now time to listen to the majority of the residents and let the developer get on with building our preferred superstore. Enough time and money has been wasted on a situation that should have been resolved years ago.
