I, TOO, wonder who makes decisions at the Town Hall (Letters, last week). Last year we were sent a questionnaire when we renewed our residents' parking permit but no-one seems to be listening.
In Lancaster's Zone A, where I live, the council issued 114 permits and 836 visitor cards for 52 spaces. This year it is doubling the price of our permits but with no new added spaces.
There is only one shop on our street, which has its own small parking area, so why do we now need pay and display spaces imposing along the road?
Voicing our opinions in the survey certainly hasn't helped the situation.
K Terrell, Lancaster.
