Yeovil v Bury: BURY are hoping that Gareth Seddon will recover from a thigh strain in time to face Yeovil at Huish Park in Division Three on Staurday.

Seddon, the Shakers' top scorer with 11 goals, limped off during Tuesday night's 1-1 at York.

But the striker was due to travel down to Somerset with his team-mates, and will be given every chance to prove his fitness ahead of tomorrow's match.

Shakers manager Graham Barrow said: "It would be a shame to lose him because he's been in good form recently.

"We may well have won the game if he'd have stayed on and York were delighted to see him go off.

"In recent games he's also been linking up a lot better with Dave Nugent."

Barrow hinted he might give a full start to striker Simon Whaley, who came on as a substitute at Bootham Crescent. It would be a first full start for the 18-year-old Boltonian.

Nationwide League new boys Yeovil have slipped out of play-off contention recently after a promising start to the campaign, and Easter Monday's 3-2 defeat at Boston scuppered their chances even further.

Manager Gary Johnson reckons his side have all but blown their hopes of a second successive elevation, saying they would need at least four wins from their final five matches to give themselves a sniff.
