A DEPLETED Leigh RU Tofts hosted the top of the league and for the first ten minutes pinned them in their own half, going three points up thanks to a Barry Yates penalty.

Moore finally pushed into the Leigh half of the field and despite some valiant defending from the whole team they broke through to open their tally.

Leigh were then subjected to a barrage and spent the rest of the game defending and did well to limit the visitors scoring chances. Moore finally tied up the game and the league title in the second half.
