RE: 'Tat ban is a gimmick' by Nikki Masters (Citizen April 8) led me, appropriately for Blackpool, to 'gimmickry' -- sophisticated efforts to merchandise politics with all the gimmickry of advertising and public relations
Thank you for the article it was illuminating.
Blackpool electors have to pay too frequently for the gimmickry forced down their throats in colourful comic-cuts publications published under the editorial auspices of Blackpool's new labour and the Blackpool chief executive with the assistance of Blackpool's 6,550 new Labour public servants.
Gimmicks by the taxing government-sponsored 'Start Right'? programme instanced for the Blackpool treasury replenishment team.
Beach Avenue any day of the week has a dozen or more vehicles parked substantially on the pavement ignored by the Blackpool treasury replenishment team.
One person, who clearly has connections within Blackpool, has been parking daily on the pavement in front of his property for the last ten years.
Space priority leaves the majority of Blackpool's gimmickry in absentia.
Thank you for the gimmick Nikki Masters
