FRIENDS and family today spoke of their shock and sadness at the sudden death of a popular 13-year-old twin girl.
Rebecca Holt, known as Becky, was taken to Blackburn Infirmary after her family called an ambulance to their home in Rogersfield, Langho.
She had been taken ill in her room.
Now her family and headmaster have paid tribute to the youngster with a wicked sense of humour they knew as popular and bubbly girl.

Becky went to St Augustine's RC High School, Billington, where both her parents, Tom and Helen, are teachers.
Tom, who teaches PE, and science teacher Helen, said today: "She was a keen Rovers fan, and will be cheering them on all the way to the end of the season.
"She had a wicked sense of humour and made everyone around her laugh. Her 13 years filled with fun, laughter and love are worth celebrating. She was very lucky to have enjoyed life so much and everyone else was lucky to have known her."
Becky was a popular girl involved in all areas of school life. She played in the girl's football, cricket, netball, badminton and rounders team, and helped the netball team win the league just before Easter.
Rebecca was in the school choir and took part in the recent drama production of Beauty and the Beast, and had just begun to learn how to play the guitar.
Out of school she enjoyed cycling, skiing and playing football, and was inseparable from her twin sister Sophie.
Sophie said: "Becky was a kind and generous girl who always thought of others. All her friends and I will really miss her, but we will remember her with a big smile on our faces."
Becky's dad Tom said: "The pair of them were inseparable, always happy and put 100 per cent into everything they did."
Anthony McNamara, head teacher at St Augustine's, said: "Becky was a bright, gentle, caring girl who gave 100 per cent to everything she did at school.
"She sang in the choir, represented the school at netball and worked hard in her lessons. Becky's family are very much in all our prayers and thoughts."
Lancashire Constabulary said: "We are aware that Rebecca died on Monday. It was reported to Blackburn police at around 7am, and is not believed to be suspicious.
"We are currently awaiting the results of a post mortem examination."
Requiem Mass will be held at St Mary's, Langho, on Wednesday, April 21, prior to cremation in Pleasington Crematorium.
An inquest is due to take place in June.
