BLACKBURN Rovers' Dallas Cup dream ended at the semi-final stage last weekend.
The Academy lads that flew out to America did the town proud as they progressed through a tough group stage before losing 1-0 to Brazilian side Athletic Parnase.
Rovers won 1-0 against the Costa Rican Under 20s team before crashing 3-0 to the Mexicans from Tigres.
That defeat left Rovers needing to win their final group game by three goals to progress -- and they did, with a 4-1 win over local boys Dallas Texan Reds.
Despite their semi-final exit, it all added up to a fruitful journey for the youngsters, who touched down in England on Tuesday morning.
