CHORLEY Lynx kick off their home fixtures in the LHF Healthcare National League Two tomorrow when they entertain Sheffield Eagles at Victory Park (1.45pm).
Over the Easter period Lynx again showed their continuing improvement with victory over Swinton Lions in the Arriva Trains Cup on Good Friday and on Easter Monday in their opening league fixture they put up an excellent show at the Huntington Stadium before finally losing out to promotion favourites York City Knights.
Coach Mark Lee is still battling with injuries with Chris Newall likely to be missing for up to three weeks with a chest injury and he joins long term injuries Gareth Jones and Simon Smith, both of whom are struggling with knee injuries.
Rob Smyth could return as he recovers from an ankle injury, while Anthony Murray returned to the squad at York after missing the previous two games with a shoulder injury. Lee has strengthened the squad with the signing of second row forward James Lomax on a month's loan from Oldham.
LYNX (from): Paterson, Meade, Kilgannon, Stenhouse, Ormeser, Ramsdale, Gambles, Parry, Roden, Hill, Redford, Barton, Rowley, Lomax, Murray, Smyth, Penny, O'Regan, Gary Smith, Alexander.
