THE Louisa Kay banner awarded by the British Ballet organisation to the school gaining the highest number of points during a year in ballet examinations was presented in London to Miss Margret Sandham and her pupils from Darwen.
A total of 805 points won the title last year but Miss Sandham's pupils excelled all previous winners, gaining 1,200 points - the highest ever record.
