ACCRINGTON Stanley manager John Coleman has scotched rumours that Lutel James has been lined up for a move to Scarborough.
The striker was linked with a move to their Nationwide Conference rivals, who beat the Reds 2-1 with a late winner on Easter Monday.
But Coleman said James was part of his plans for next season.
"I haven't heard anything about that rumour," he said.
"Lutel is someone who I've spoken to about next season."
And James added that he was equally keen to stay at the Interlink Express Stadium.
"I'm happy at the club and hopefully we'll be able to sort out a deal for next season," said the 31-year-old, who missed Saturday's 3-3 draw with Gravesend and Northfleet due to flu.
Meanwhile, Coleman was pleased with the fighting spirit his players showed to come back from 3-1 down at the weekend.
