TRADERS were furious at the lack of action following the closure of a street they felt was the lifeblood of their businesses.
One stallholder on the market reported a 10 per cent slump in trade after Ainsworth Street, in Blackburn, was closed to traffic.
Shopkeepers on and near Ainsworth Street were also seeing trade decline, according to the Chamber of Trade.
