RESIDENTS who do not believe they get a first-class service from the Post Office can have their say at a public meeting on Wednesday.
Postwatch Northern England is keen to hear from customers who are unhappy with the services they are getting from their postal provider.
The consumer watchdog group is holding its annual public meeting at the Reebok Stadium, home of Bolton Wanderers F.C.
Regional chairman Judith Donovan said "This meeting gives members of the public the opportunity to find our more about the role of Postwatch and how we can help them get the kind of service that they deserve."
She said Postwatch was aware there had been many problems with the postal services in the north west, including people queuing for up to 45 minutes to collect their post in the morning, and continuous misdeliveries.
She added: "As the voice of the consumer it is vital that we are kept up to date with problems people are facing with their postal services. If we do not know about the problems how can we start to address them".
The public meeting will start at 12.30pm with a chance to discuss any specific postal problems with a regional committee member from noon.
