YOUNGSTERS at Ashleigh Primary School, Darwen, learned about life in an African orphanage when 12 children from Tanzania visited and entertained with traditional songs.
The youngsters were from the Bethany Project, set up by former Darwen born-again Christians Dave Shore and Glenn Fox who are currently visiting schools and churches to raise funds for their orphanage and clinic.
Ashleigh pupils presented a cheque for £200 raised at a recent school production. For further information on how to support the charity, call 01254 822767 or visit www.bethanyonline.org.
