HAVING commented in a past letter in the Lancashire Evening Telegraph, concerning the Goths and their touch of cultural colour to Blackburn.
I am just writing to say that the presence of our very own celebrity, Lancashire Evening Telegraph columnist Margo Grimshaw and the charm, sophistication and colour she too contributes to the social and society life of our jaded town.
Although Margo has had some tribulations in her interesting life, she has always time to smile and can be seen radiating her charismatic charm with her personal sunshine. Her kind deeds are well known to the people of Blackburn, as she visits the town to shop in her sporty and colourful, Margomobile.
Margo is a positive inspiration to us all to endure and face life as a challenge rather than a hopeless attitude of ennui, in these very trying times. Her column in the Lancashire Evening Telegraph is infused with the erudite experience of a lady who has challenged and won the hard battles in life and her comments are pearls of down-to-earth common sense, something lacking in our society today.
So we can all glean inspiration from Margo and the sunshine and colour that she brings to our jaded old town of Blackburn.
