TWO teenage boys have appeared in court charged with maliciously wounding a 47-year-old Clayton-le-Moors man.
The boys, aged 14 and 17, who cannot be identified because of their ages, are charged with wounding Martin Mayor, of Arthur Street. They entered no pleas yesterday, and the cases were adjourned until Tuesday, April 27 by Hyndburn Youth Court.
Mr Mayor is in Royal Preston Hospital after undergoing surgery to remove a blood clot. He was found at his home with injuries in the early hours of Saturday.
