DANESWAY Post Office in Prestwich will close on June 19, bosses have confirmed.
But a decision on Chapelfield Post Office in Stand Lane is still awaited.
Following a public consultation, Radcliffe Hall Post Office in Cross Lane will also close on May 22.
Eddie Herbert, head of area for the Post Office, said: "The main concerns were about the effect of the closure on the elderly and the convenience of the alternative branches.
"Having carefully considered all the points raised, I still believe that the permanent closure of these two offices is the correct course of action. I am confident that other branches in the area are suitably located and can cope with the extra business these closures will cause."
Final decisions on the five other branches in Bury South considered for closure will be announced at a later date. As well as Chapelfield, these are Besses o'th' Barn Post Office, Hillock Post Office, and Park Lane Post Office, all in Whitefield, and Whittaker Lane Post Office in Prestwich.
Last week, the final closing dates for five post offices in Bury North were announced.
