MUSBURY Fabrics have struck an eleventh hour deal to become the sponsors of the Lancashire Cricket League for 2004.
The Rossendale-based household textiles and furnishings company shook hands on the deal to create the Musbury Fabrics Lancashire Cricket League just hours before the start of the new season.
The league was without a sponsorship agreement last season and, until Musbury stepped in, it looked as though they would be without one this season.
Musbury's sister company, Rawtenstall-based store Novaks will also be sponsoring a new player of the month award, which will be selected by the league committee.
