NINETY minutes of football stand between Radcliffe Boro and a place in the Unibond play-offs.
At least a draw is needed on Saturday against Burscough at Stainton Park, although a win would guarantee them a play-off spot. Once there they would be just three games away from the new Northern Conference.
Manager Kevin Glendon therefore issued a rallying cry to the club's fans to play their part.
"The support this season has been magnificent and I hope it continues, especially on Saturday, where they can be like another player if they get behind us," said Glendon.
"It's a game we can go into knowing that however badly we've played over recent weeks we can still make it a season to remember.
"It's daft to think this club doesn't want to go up.
"Directors don't spend £15,000 of their own money not to progress.
"The reason they do it is because they want to see their team do the business at as high a level as possible, that's what it's all geared towards.
"We've played all season to get into the Conference North and now it's down to two or three games."
Having been down to the bear bones playing-wise against Spennymoor, he hopes to be in a much better position this weekend.
"We'll be training three times and hopefully I'll be able to pick from a full squad, it will be a big plus if we can get Josh Mitten, Simon Kelly and James Price back," he said.
"So who knows, everybody's moaning and groaning but we could be in the new league before they realise it!"
Feeling the need to defend his tall striker, he said: "Josh has come in for a bit of stick recently, but despite moving up two divisions he's got eight goals in ten games, which is a pretty good return, and he works really hard, he wants to improve.
"Some times big lads don't look good on the eye but they can be effective and we've always looked better when Josh has played.
"There's no two ways about it, we've missed him up front because he can cause havoc, so we'll be working like nobody's business to get him fit."
Tempting fate a little, he then looked forward to the Play-offs.
"I wouldn't be bothered who we faced, we just have to get there, in a one-off game we can beat any of the teams.
"It would be just like a cup competition and I think once we get over this Saturday they lads will be refreshed and ready for a final tilt."
Reflecting upon the 3-1 loss at Spennymoor, he said: "They weren't any great shakes and we were quite bright for 40 minutes, but then we had a mad five minutes and they scored three.
"It was not so much the young lads, and we had three youth team lads on the bench, it was more the experienced ones that were at fault, they were sloppy and it cost us.
"But we managed to score a goal from open play; the return of Davey Luker was a big plus and they didn't really give us any problems until those five minutes before half time.
"In the second half the game fizzled out and became a bit of a non-entity, it was horrible.
"I know some of the supporters are thinking this is not a Radcliffe Borough team, and it's not at the moment.
"Even though we got beat I used to enjoy watching us play because we played some good football even though we got beat.
"Recently I can't say we've played that well, but this Saturday that can all change again.
"So to all the supporters who haven't been impressed I say get along on Saturday and help us turn things around."
