TOTTINGTON Private Nursery School has received a glowing report from the Government's education watchdogs.
Ofsted inspectors said the nursery on Kirklees Street, Tottington, provides "good quality care for children" and offers "high quality pre-school provision which enables children to make very good progress towards the early learning goals."
Inspectors commented: "Children's progress in all six areas of learning is very good." The six areas include mathematical development; personal, social and emotional development and communication, language and literacy.
The youngsters themselves were described as being happy and displayed a "great enthusiasm to learn".
The nursery's management structure was praised for their ongoing training programme for staff, the majority of which have Early Years' qualifications.
Staff themselves were described as "enthusiastic, adaptable and work well as a team".
Although inspectors highlighted the "good professional relationships "with parents about their child's needs, they added that improvements could be made in the "procedures for sharing play plans in the kindergarten with parents".
