CALL centre worker Genieve McDonald is hoping to make the right connection with judges as she bids to be Miss British Isles.
The 21-year-old from Sefton Street, Whitefield is a finalist in the competition on Sunday after winning a regional heat in Manchester.
Genieve, who works in customer services at O2 in Dumers Lane, Bury, entered the contest by submitting photographs of herself.
Genieve, a former St Monica's RC High School pupil, added: "My family are absolutely delighted."
The Miss British Isles final will be held at the Adelphi Hotel in Liverpool and the winner receives £10,000 worth of prizes and a modelling contract.
