A LUCKY lap-dancer has scooped a competition to meet her favourite pop idol in one of the world's most glamorous cities.

Karen McIntyre (above), 19, flew to Hollywood this week for a dream meeting with one of pop's biggest names -- Christina Aguilera.

Karen, of Cliff Street, Rishton, is a dancer at East Lancashire's only lap-dancing club, the Velvet Lounge, Blackburn.

She won an MTV competition after texting the music television station. Karen said: "I had to send a text in about Christina for a competition."

The result was "Beautiful" for Karen who felt "Blessed" by her lucky win. She was flown first-class to the the home of the stars where television bosses put her in five-star accommodation at the Sunset Hotel in West Hollywood.

They even gave Karen $500 dollars to splash out. She said: "The television station rang me back and told me I was one of three people who could have won the prize. I turned the TV on and saw a gameshow where they were picking the winner and my name was pulled out. It was unbelievable,"

The dancer jetted out yesterday to meet the singer in Los Angeles. Karen is such a fan of Christina she dresses like her while dancing at the Duke Street club.
