WHILST I feel sorry for the injured boy in the Jackass story on April 19, I wonder how such boys were able to produce a website and use a camcorder to film the footage -- without parents realising what was going on.
Questions need to be answered. Who funded the website and the camcorder and stunt materials?
Kids will do stupid stunts regardless of whether they were on telly or not. But in my view some liability lies with the parents.
Jackass is not the only 'silly stunt' programme on TV. They warn adequately -- come on, how many kids are going to get a picture of themselves tattooed on their backs? I don't feel it's 'Jackass's' fault!
