St Hilda's are the netball champions of Burnley while Ivy Bank footballers will represent the borough in the Lancashire Youth Games.
The Burnley Secondary Schools Championships culminated with simultaneous football and netball events at Towneley Park.
The Year Seven netball tournament attracted the town's six secondary schools and it was the shooting stars of St Hilda's who had a real eye for the hoop.
For the super Saints took top spot above Ivy Bank who claimed runners-up place.
The event also attracted teams from Towneley, Gawthorpe, Walshaw and Habergham.
Ivy Bank continued their fine form on the football pitch after winning the Year Eight/Nine competition.
The champions-elect kicked off with a 1-0 win against St Hildas and followed up with victories Gawthorpe and Towneley.
Ivy Bank, who have already reached the national final of a six-a-side competition and the North of England finals of a 11-a-side event included Rachel and Sarah Walker, Michaela Davis, Laura Corvino, Sarah Madin, Jordy Simpson and Ellie Kinlin.
The Burnley Schools sports programme continues next month with the rounders.
The Year 10 event will take place at Habergham High School on May 27 while the Year Eight/Nine finals will take place at Walshaw on June 10.
And the rounders finished with the Year Seven event will take place on June 17, also at Habergham High School.
