YES, Blackburn is still in Lancashire and it does not become something else because some transient, overblown councillors say otherwise.
Little wonder the electorate have become disengaged with politicians and councillors when arbitrary decisions of this type are made.
No surprise either that there is little support for regional government which would only lead to yet another layer of egocentric bureaucrats who make this kind of inane decision.
However, if there was to be regional government and we followed the Lancashire councillors' logic would this mean that the North West, including Lancashire, would no longer be a part of England?
