I AM writing to praise the NHS after an incident in Accrington three weeks ago.
I had to ring 999 for my daughter. In less than five minutes the paramedics arrived from Accrington Ambulance Centre.
After treating her at the scene she was rushed to A and E at Blackburn Royal Infirmary where the doctors and nurses were waiting for her.
The speed and reassurance she received was second to none, so I would like to thank most sincerely Alan and Andy, the paramedics, the staff of A and E, also Ward 3 Blackburn Royal Infirmary and Ward D3 Queen's Park Hospital and consultants and doctors who saved my daughter's life.
God bless you all and thank you again. A very grateful mum.
T DUCKWORTH (Mrs), St Alban's Court, Blackburn.
