MORE than 200 Lancashire teachers staged a shock walkout in support of their pay row with the government.
In an unprecedented move in their 100 year history members of the Assistant Masters and Mistresses Association ordered their traditionally moderate staff to stop work for the afternoon.
There was cheer for Burnley, Pendle and Ribble Valley drinkers with news that holiday drinks extensions would be standardised throughout the area.
