A YOUTH has appeared in court at Rochdale accused of dealing in £7,000 worth of cannabis resin.
Craig Alan Bougen, 18, of St Andrew's Close, Ramsbottom, faces charges of possessing 40 bars of cannabis resin and with supplying seven bars of the Class C drug to persons unknown.
A 17-year-old youth also appeared with him accused of possessing a Class C drug.
It is alleged the drugs were stored at the 17-year-old's address in Heywood but that Bougen was involved in supplying the cannabis.
The magistrates declined jurisdiction.
The case was adjourned to June 22 when Bougen and the 17-year-old, who cannot be named, will be committed to stand trial at the Crown Court, Bolton.
Both were granted bail.
Bougen tendered no plea at this stage.
