RE Telegraph Comment (April 22) "Question marks are still lingering," I totally agree.

For Social Services to pass the deaths of these children off as unfortunate incidents is simply not justifiable.

The processes they have in place have failed the families and relatives of the children involved miserably.

In light of these tragic events I do not think it would be too unreasonable to demand the resignation of the director of Social Services.

As the man at the top, he is the one who should be held most accountable.
