COMEDY is on the cards for Culcheth Players. They are busy rehearsing their May production Blithe Spirit, a comedy in three acts by Noel Coward.
The play revolves around the novelist Charles Condomine and his second wife, Ruth, who invite the medium Madame Arcati to dinner to help Charles write a novel.

The cast is: Yvonne Pattinson (Ruth), Mark Taylor (Charles), Marion Brown (Madame Arcati), Lorna Carrington (Elvira), David McManus (Dr Bradman), Christine Urmston (Mrs Bradman) and Clare Mills (Edith, a maid).
Performances at Culcheth Sports and Social Club in Charnock Road run from Wednesday, May 12, to Saturday, May 15, curtain up at 7.45pm.
Tickets are £4 and £3 (concessionary) available from 01925 765136 or from the club.
