MORE than 2,000 Lancashire teachers planned a shock walk-out in support of their pay row with the Government.
In an unprecedented move the Assistant Masters and Mistresses Association (AMMA) ordered their traditionally moderate members to stop work at lunchtime.
The teachers had asked for a 36.5 per cent pay rise and were protesting at the nine percent offered instead.
