A CLARETS fan who flouted a football banning order has been told to stick to watching his team on television.
Burnley magistrates heard how gambler Lee Joseph Pickering, 21, who is barred from Turf Moor for life, is subject of a three-year order. He has to surrender his passport to police and sign on at the police station when England play abroad.
The defendant, of Emily Street, Burnley, admitted failing to comply with a football banning order between March 21 and 31. He was given 50 hours community punishment with £50 costs.
