HUNDREDS turned up for The Lancashire Evening Telegraph's second Recruitment and Careers Fair at Burnley Football Club.
Jobs and education advice was given by a wide range of employers yesterday, including the emergency services, armed forces, NHS and Halifax Bank.
Karen Jepson, Evening Telegraph advertising team leader, said information on job opportunities, training, recruitment and further education was available to youngsters preparing to leave school, people switching careers or looking for a job, and those considering going back to education.
Among the organisations present were Lancashire Constabulary, the Army, Royal Navy and RAF, plus North Lancs Training Group, the NHS, Gold Medal Travel, Woodhead Brothers and Shop Direct.
Admission was free and the fair took place in Turf Moor's James Hargreaves Suite, throughout the day.
The next one will be at King George's Hall, Blackburn, on September 23. Schools have been invited.
