COUNCILLORS meeting to discuss community projects in Huncoat were unable to make any decisions, as the required number of people failed to turn up.
The special budget meeting of Huncoat Area Council, held yesterday was called to look at the finances available to the area council, and also to produce spending proposals to be presented to the group's next meeting.
Among the projects in the pipeline for the area council are a community notice board, and plans for a remembrance garden.
But with just five members turning up, the meeting could not make any decisions, and instead could only make recommendations.
So £3,500 looks set to be given to fund a Huncoat in Bloom project, and £750 for a notice board.
The next meeting of the area council is set to be held in July, when more decisions will be made.
