MISS British Isles hopeful Genieve McDonald has found her calling, even if she did not walk away with the title.
The 21-year-old is to concentrate on a career in modelling after her experience in the national competition at the weekend.
As reported in last week's Guide, Genieve, from Whitefield, had made it to the finals of the Miss British Isles contest at the Adelphi Hotel in Liverpool after submitting her photograph to competition organisers.
Genieve, who works at the O2 call centre in Dumers Lane, Bury, was up against 21 other hopefuls and said the experience was well worth it.
She said: "I'm not tall enough to be a catwalk model but the experience was amazing. I do still want to go into modelling and made some good contacts while I was there."
