CHORLEY will look to get their season under way for real this weekend with a double header of Northern Premier League matches.
They host Netherfield tomorrow then travel to Morecambe on Bank Holiday Monday.
Because their first game against Preston two weeks ago was abandoned due to rain and last week they had a free weekend, Chorley have been left behind on just four points.
"It still feels a bit like pre-season," said captain Nigel Heaton. "We haven't been able to get a result and training has been washed out so it's left us in the bottom half of the table.
"I hope missing out on last weekend's good weather doesn't come back to haunt us."
Rex Furnell comes into the side against Netherfield to replace Ian Oakes.
It's Darwen's turn to sit out of league action on Saturday but they return on Monday at Leyland.
