LANCASHIRE will be up against one of the most exciting overseas duos when they face Kent on Sunday.
The Spitfires will have Australian all-rounder Andrew Symonds back in their squad to accompany Pakistani fast bowler Mohammed Sami.
Symonds is an immensely destructive batsman and useful bowler who can turn is arm over with either medium pace or off-spin.
Meanwhile, Sami has already made an immediate impact with Kent this season taking 6-20 against Gloucestershire last weekend. In 2003 he took 15 wickets in a Championship game before having to leave injured.
The contest between Lancashire's powerful middle order and the Pakistani paceman should be worth watching.
Carl Hooper will be facing his former club and hoping to have the same success as last season when he scored a century against them at Blackpool.
Both sides won their opening one-day games of the season. Lancashire beat Northants by five wickets while Kent recorded a narrow one-run win over Gloucestershire.
