FREE sessions to help people balance their budget will be held next month.
The council-run Money Matters scheme aims to get residents clued up in checking their bills, getting value for money, and also offers debt counselling.
The Money Matters information stand will be in Bury's Mill Gate centre today (Friday April 30) and the first 100 adult visitors to the stand will each receive a gift.
Other sessions will be held on:
Monday, May 10, between 9.30am and 11am at Bury College.
Tuesday, May 11, between 9.30am and 12.30pm at Tottington Library, and again between 1.30pm and 3pm at Bury College.
Wednesday, May 12, between 1.30pm and 3pm at Bury College
Thursday, May 13, between 9.30am and 12.30pm at Whitefield Library, and then between 6.15pm and 9.15pm at the Arts and Crafts Centre, Broad Street, Bury.
The Mayor of Bury, Councillor Wilf Davison, will today make a prize draw in Mill Gate, when 12 people will win £100 in shopping vouchers. This is their reward for answering a Money Matters questionnaire, which was available from council buildings.
