A PLEA to the Home Secretary was made to allow an ex-internee in Belfast who was banned from Britain to visit his sick parents in Blackburn.
The National Council for Civil Liberties (NCCL) requested that 29-year-old Tommy Doyle be allowed to visit, and that his exclusion order made under the Prevention of Terrorism Act be suspended. Mr Doyle was banned from Britain following an incident in 1977.
