Radcliffe 0 Burscough 2: GOALS from Liam Blakeman and Gary Martindale ended Radcliffe Borough's hopes of reaching the Conference Division Two North.
Blakeman struck seven minutes before the break to set up Burscough for a second win at Stainton Park in successive Saturdays.
And Martindale's last-minute breakaway goal took the Linnets through to this afternoon's Unibond Premier Division play-off final against Bradford Park Avenue.
Borough had started brightly, with Josh Mitten and Tony Carroll both forcing good saves from Burscough keeper Matthew Boswell.
Simon Kelly also headed a good chance wide, but Burscough had opportunities of their own before Blakeman gave them the lead.
Borough stepped up the pressure in the second half, but could not find a way past the well protected Boswell.
With five minutes left, Kelly lobbed the ball over the bar with just the keeper to beat, and then Simon Carden had a shot blocked.
But with Borough chasing the equaliser, Burscough broke and Martindale condemned Kevin Glendon's men to another season in the Unibond Premier Division.
