LEIGH RMI boss Phil Starbuck has wasted no time in ringing the changes for next season and installing a new assistant manager.
Coach Gary Kelly takes over as the Railwaymen's number two from Steve Redmond, who is one of a host of players released.
Starbuck said: "I want to rebuild RMI for next season with new players, and with this objective in mind I have had to release several players. At the moment I do not know which league we will be playing in. This makes it difficult when trying to put together a team but the fans can rest asured that I will have a good football team for next season."
The players released are Damien Whitehead, Carl Rezei, Steve Gunby, Martyn Lancaster, Michael Price, Paul Shepherd and Wayne Maden.
Players staying are Gareth Holmes, Ian Martin, Steve Smith and Mario Daniel, while Andy Roscoe and Warren Peyton are already under contract. Skipper Neil Durkin's future depends on his work commitments, while star striker David McNiven has been offered a new contract.
