DRINKERS in Knuzden now have one of their locals back after the Knuzden Brook Inn reopened with a new landlady.
The pub had been boarded up for a number of months after its previous licensee took the lease at the nearby Crescent Hotel in Bank Lane.
But new licensee Vivien Marshall says the pub - the first one where she has been landlady - is getting back on its feet after it reopened on Good Friday.
Vivien, a former bar maid at the Seven Trees pub, said: "This is our fourth weekend this weekend and it is going well.
"We are getting the regulars back in and they have given us good feedback.
"We have worked really hard on the pub ourselves to get it open."
