CLASSIC film matinees are returning to Darwen Library Theatre this month.
On Friday, May 28 Casablanca, will be shown from 2pm.
In June ,Carousel will be screened, Mary Poppins in July and Wuthering Heights in August.
The classic films were very popular last year -- prompting theatre bosses to make a new addition for the new season.
'Evening Blockbusters' are to be screened through the summer at 7pm, although no details of which films have yet been released.
In addition to the films, the theatre has a packed summer schedule of varied shows.
There is a Doctor Who convention on May 15, an introduction to Shakespeare on May 20 and 21, Humpty Dumpty on June 4, The Snow Queen on August 3, a rhythm orchestra on August 6 and the Elvis Presley story on August 14.
There will also be a number of exhibitions of paintings throughout the summer, including a tattoo illustrator and photographs.
