JIM McCluskie has backed Accrington Stanley's Damien Hindle to make his mark on the Nationwide Conference.
McCluskie, who stepped down as Rossendale United manager at the end of the season, took the young striker on loan earlier this year.
The former Burnley starlet impressed in his spell at Dark Lane, and McCluskie has backed him to make excellent progress as Stanley become a full-time professional outfit this summer.
"Damien did very well for us," the former Dale chief said.
"It was a big change for him after coming from a professional club like Burnley but he adapted well, and one thing that will benefit him in the future is his fabulous attitude.
"I'm sure he can make a go of it at Conference level.
"He is still a young lad and has got a lot to learn but he is very willing, which is nice to see.
"A lot of young lads have other things than football but Damien's priority is to do well in the game. His attitude is fantastic."
He added: "I was really pleased with him and I can only thank John Coleman for letting me have him."
