I WAS deeply disturbed when I read that a 10-year-old boy had watched Jackass on TV then copied scenes from this idiotic programme.
Many programmes that are screened directly after the watershed I deem unsuitable for my children to watch. This programme is rarely on before 11pm, so not all responsibility should be shouldered by the producers and broadcasters, but also some responsibility should be taken by parents who allow their children to view these pranks at such a young age, never mind help them make videos for websites.
They are not only condoning that it is OK for them to watch these programmes, but they are encouraging them as well.
