BLACKBURN Rovers Ladies' are trying to match Arsenal's bid to go through the whole season unbeaten.
Rovers' ruthless streak continued with a 9-0 drubbing of Leeds City Vixens at the weekend.
Andy McNally's side have already secured the Northern Combination title, and their sights are now set on completing the campaign with a 100 per cent record.
In beating their White Rose rivals, thanks to goals from Andrea Bell (3), Katie Anderton (2), Anisha Bateman (2), Sue Kenwright and Debbie Standring, Rovers have broken the league's record for points amassed in a season - their current total of 63 eclipsing Stockport County's 60 last year.
Boss McNally said: "To win every single game is an amazing feat at any level and only one game stands in our way of achieving that. The players' attitude and commitment to every match has been spot on."
Rovers Ladies' successful campaign draws to a close on Wednesday May 12 at Garswood Saints.
