A DESIGN created by one of its pupils is now emblazoned on Radcliffe Primary School's new uniform.
Ten-year-old Samantha Palmer put pen to paper earlier this year to create the school's new logo.
When Radcliffe Infants and Junior schools amalgamated last September to form the new Radcliffe Primary School, staff and governors knew that the new school would need a new logo.
However, they wanted the children to be part of the process and nearly all the pupils took part, with staff and governors choosing the winner.
They finally decided to base the new logo on a design created by Samantha, which is now proudly on show outside the school entrance and on pupils' sweatshirts.
Samantha was presented with a gift voucher and a framed copy of the logo as a memento of her achievement.
She said: "I chose the sun design for the logo because the sun makes you feel happy and it is bright."
