A RECENT housing survey suggests the majority of council tenants are happy with their homes.
Those who responded said Wigan and Leigh Housing staff were helpful, their accommodation was the right size and in good condition. Eighty per cent were happy with their neighbourhoods, although concerns were raised regarding litter, vandalism, crime and dog fouling.
Peter Gee, chief executive of Wigan & Leigh Housing, said: "Results show services are improving and we now have a wealth of information to help us get better still."
